changing out headlight and DRL to bright white HID or XENON can anybody give any advice

i bought a 2013 certified VW Jetta TDI. I would like to change out the headlight bulb and the day running light bulb to white HID or Xenon. i don't know much about cars and youtube has not been helpful on this topic. can i just get replacement bulbs or is there conversion work to be done, please help.

I HATE these things, temporarily blinding me oncoming, have to block my eyes and face whenever you're approaching...you need to see the road 300 ft in front of you not a spectral assault on oncoming cars...please don't get them and share the road with me~ having MS accelerates the exacerbations...thanks for making me never want to drive anymore~
Um...your vehicle should still be covered under the 36month/36kmile bumper-to-bumper warranty from the factory. Also, VW Certified Used come with a 24month/24Kmile warranty if that factory one is somehow expired. Go to your dealership...pitch a mild fit and I'm sure you'll get some assistance.
Just be sure to explain the lights are too dim and unsafe.
