So my 2013 vw jetta will not start after putting gas in it have to pump it a few
times then it's fine till I put gas in again also my check engine light is on now it
won't hold a charge and it's a brand new battery and white smoke coming from
car please anyone help. Took it to Midas they saidgas cap bought new one and
still no change.

Have you tested alternator and wiring to battery. Sounds like a purge valve also if not starting after gassing up. Resolve the electrical first then the emissions issue.

Yes the battery issues started about 2 weeks later. I will have the codes read again when I had them read at orileys and Midas they both gas cap Midas even reset my check engine light for me and I bought a new gas cap but was not the problem. I will get back to you with codes

Sounds like coolant getting into the cylinders from the white smoke. Does it have a sweet smell from the exhaust?

Coil pack , engine leads n spark plugs mines doing the same same make n model. My mechanic said that's the issue for my misfiring
