Just pry that plastic flap behind the rear seat open with a screwdriver. Maybe you could even use the screwdriver as a 'key'. And use the same screwdriver to force the cheapo 'lock' mechanism in there open to get the seat back down. Easy enough to replace (or not!) That is a small sacrifice to make to get your expensive key back. Usually the valet key is inserted into a small clip on the glove box door.
