No but GM is having a bunch more recalls. I'm just waiting. I took mine into the dealership and they had it 8 hrs and said it never did it there. It's really frustrating.

Spoke to GM today. If u haven't contacted them about ur car u should. They have to have more cases before they will look into it. So frustrating

We had the EXACT same problem. If key was left in ignition, car would try to "turn over" like it was going to start. Would also sometimes notice at night that radio was playing and/or interior/dome lights of car were on! It is at dealership right now & they were able to get it to do this. They have just advised that problem is a short ground in two cables that connect electronic control module and battery. They are going to replace those cables & check all of the equipment they connect/control to make sure there is no damage to those components! So, take your car back to the dealership & share THIS info with them!! Our car is at Priority Chevrolet in Chesapeake, VA, so if your dealership needs to contact someone to discuss!

Mine too 2013 Chevy Cruze 63000 miles. Called GM and they wanted me to pay for taking it to the dealer to be looked at. Told them I wasn't paying for it when there are hundreds of people having this same problem.

Same here I just had that problem last night I thought someone was trying to steal it!! I had it parked in my yard last night getting groceries out of it so I just left it there and at 1:30 am the dog started barking and I got up and looked and the lights were flashing and the starter was engaging. All I can see in my security camera was the lights flashing I was hoping I could see the car in action on video.

As what we do at our dealer in UAE we replace Key cylinder assy. but have to adjust the barrel according to the key so you will keep the same key. that will cure the problem for sure .

My 2009 Cruze just did this the other night - I was sitting in it parked, with the key still in the ignition but in the 'off' position and it tried to turn itself on 3 times - my lights were flashing like a disco and I thought the car had a mind of its own! So weird. I will have to contact Holden here in Australia and see if they will pay for a replacement ignition. I'm sad but comforted to know that others are having the same issue.
