Code 12 is low voltage. Code 30 I can't seem to locate. I would do a full tune up. Plugs, cap, rotor, and new wires. Low voltage could also mean that your voltage regulator in your alternator is beginning to fade. According to some posts I've read, if you have recently taken the battery cables off, it will trip code 12.

From what I have read is 12 is for battery being disconnected in last 50 starts but no code 30. Are you sure it was 30?
