I need vehicle comparisons for a 1989 Toyota 4Runner, any ideas where I can start???

My son had just purchased a 1989 4runner and was hit by another vehicle and his 4runner rolled 6x's ejecting everyone, they are offering $2000, but said if I could locate some comparisons they may be able to raise the price....I just have no idea what I'm doing!!
