How  do you repair a crankshaft position sensor on a 96 grand caravan 3.0 with a mitsubishi engine?

The crankshaft position sensor assembly is located in the Distributor. Look for a 4 wire plug located at distributor it's generally a round style plug if I remember correctly

The crankshaft sensor pick up off the flywheel. It's mounted on the bell housing of the transmission @ the 2:00 position looking from the rear of the transmission. NTH.

Thanks for the feedback on the location of the crankshaft sensors on a 96 Dodge caravan. In my troubles with the misfirings with relation to the sensors, people need to stop the engine and try to prevent it from misfirings as it is. Main cause for damaging the catalytic converter. The overheating tends to melt the element in the converter.
