How do I change the fuel pump on my 1987 Honda Prelude 2.0Si

I have the car up and the left back tire off. I
think the pump is above the tank. But one
my my tank straps is damaged and I cannot
get the tank down. I need some more
guidance

hello im actually doing this job to ....your fuel pump is located under the fender infront of the driver side rear tire and there should be like two covers over it ....tae the tire off so you can get to the fuel lines so you can undo them then after you get the bolts off the outside of the cover and drop the pump down from the side and your there :)

I finished that project a month ago now and I found it. After I took the tank out! I also had to replace the ignition switch. is all fixed and running like amazing! I have new problems now tho!
