Head lights on high beam only work as long as you hold lever up

Asked by mastifman4 Jan 26, 2017 at 08:26 AM about the 1996 Dodge Dakota SLT LB RWD

Question type: General

no head lights, but if you hold high-low lever in up position then high beams
work. 1996 dodge dakota. Replaced the whole unit for turn singles-lights and
washers and still same problem.

Did you try replacing the headlight relay????

I have the have problem in my 1994 dakota... Also the lights sometimes decide to work AND sometimes randomly shut off.
