When lowering the rear end of a 1991 nissan hardbody with 3 inch lowering blocks are the 2 degree shims mandatory? I have heard yes and now from a few people??

I have never lowered a truck, and my opinion of lowering a truck I will keep to myself. But what I can tell you that lowering the rear only will throw off the geometry of the design and it seems to me a few degrees of shims would indeed be necessary to keep the suspension components in alignment. I would say yes.
