I have a 1987 Toyota mr2 5 speed. The check engine light does not come on. The bulb is fine. Everything else running fine. Is there a fuse that could just affect this?

It has been on in last 6 mos. I didn't notice that it wasn't turning on until it didn't pass smog. I will try O2 sensor and report back. Thanks.

Disconnected O2 sensor. CEL still doesn't come on. Also jumped T and E1 terminals and did not get any flashing codes. CEL still didn't light up. I'd appreciate more suggestions. Thank you.
