Question type: Car Customization
Have original 14 inch wheels on vehicle currently. Would like to put a set of American Racing wheels on vehicle, but would like to fill wheel space a bit. Looking to go 15 or 16 inch wheels, but do not want tires to rub.

I do not recommend straying from the originally designed geometry. The reason is at high speed and on curves the truck is not designed for the higher center of gravity...and the speedometer will always be inaccurate~ best stick with what works...take chances for what "so it'd look cool?" a functional work-truck ain't supposed to look "cool"~
the best work truck is a cool work truck this is the usa even are garbage trucks can be cool .

Ive been running 16s and 17s on my 90 2wd 4 speed and its stupid better, for towing, pulling, cruising, bumps and even gas on the highway, lose some in the city and hills. But handling around corners and just plain overall getting around. Its hands down unbelievably better. I run 225 60 16s with my alloys rn. Want to try 245 75s ish but i havnt yet so thats where i know to drawl the line so far. Had 17s at 215 60s and was room for a size maybe more, im not a pro. Usually just try it and go from there. 215 60 17s plenty of room, and i squatted her. Thanks hopes this helps some Tony Kraz
