my Ac won't work

Computer update? that's a new one on me. Anyway hoping you at least replaced the receiver drier when doing this. The system should always be pumped down prior to recharge assuming that was done. Also if the clutch gap on the compressor is not set correctly you won't have engagement. Many important details and tools are needed to properly get the system running correctly. Kinda afraid the dealer will throw you in the pond if you bring it in but it's your car. With all due respect I question the fact the compressor truly needed replacement on this not so old of a car. There are other things such as relays, pressure switches, etc that can cause the system not to perform.
