Heat is not working

The temperature blend door should be cable controlled and located behind the glove box. If anything has fallen behind the glove box it may have dislodged the cable assembly or caused the knob to strip its center out. first put the temp knob at the straight up position and pull straight back on it to remove it from the control head. look at the back of it for either the metal retaining clip that should be in it to have remained on the shaft in the control head or the plastic to be cracked/broken. If it's okay pull the glove box past its stops and look at the cables to see if they are detached from the air distribution box.

Everything looks fine the cables are attached and work when I turn the knob. But the knob feels stiff when 3/4 to high heat. And I don't see a metal clip there's a piece of green plastic and white plastic on the backside of knob. I gotta let it warm up again to see if it did anything

I would love to be able to get a schematic of what things should look like and how they should operate "behind the glove box" This are moving back there - but all that comes out is cold air ...

Opposite prob on an '03, low pressure ac line is cold and condensating, but vent air is luke cool not cold.
