replacing freeze plug 95 dodge neon

...yep, these things can be kinda tricky, you'll need a freezeplug installation tool, though a hearty 1/2 drive socket will do if there is enough space in there for hammer clearance. after all the coolant has been drained and you're left with a hole that has a few shoulders on it, clean, wirebrush and ready it for a coolant-tite application of your freeze plug, they are normally cupped a bit. with your installation tool pound the new one in assuring a liquid tight seal, at the shop we'd use a hint of RTV sealant just so there will be no drips. fill 'er up mac, and happy motoring!
