wires all repaired and now it won’t turn over but the
headlights are dim, some other stuff on the dash are
dim, and the dome light is dim. What’s wrong and
what can I do? I think it is the alternator cause if I
charge the battery it will...

Without knowing the extent or quality of your repairs it's impossible to guess what is wrong. Verify your alternator and voltage regulator are working and grounds are good.

Check the negative ground wire going to the vehicle ground making sure it is good and tight to frame.
