Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hey to make a very Long story short I
sunk my bronco in a creek for 2 days
muddin I got it out and it ran like crap
drained the oil, throttle body, air box,
pulled  the plugs and turned the
motor over and got about 4-5 gallons
of water out of it it ran like crap still
with oil preshure all over the place
and leaking a lot of oil everywhere.
So I ended up replacing the oil
pump, oil pan gasket, rear main seal,
trans pan gasket, and a freeze
plug,distributer gasket, button, and
cap. Also I replaced ALL fluids. Well I
got it back up and running but the oil
pressure was below the red line on
Low so we GUESSED it was the
gage that was bad bec It idled so
long without blowing. But anyway we
took it for a test dire with it bein very
slow and wouldn't get out of 1st then
we heard a loud sound and it shut off
never to be turned over again. We
pulled plugs again ( didn't look TOO
bad) tool of starter and surpintine
belt and could barely get it to turn
over by hand ( maybe 1-2
centimeters). I don't know where to
look next ?? It did flash a check
engine before but bec of 89 no obd2
so I'm stuck PLEASE HELP

@beastieboy629 is it possible the torque converter is locked or any other options you can think that I could do becides callin it quits with a seized engine?

you should never turned it over with water in it, a piston cannot compress water like the air fuel mixture .it will force a head gasket, blow ,a cylinder wall or snap a rod . Easier to drop in a used engine

Since you use your vehicle like that, you should have a storage unit full of parts, ready to go- engines, trannys, diffs, wheel bearings, electrics- etc.

Would putting oil down the spark plug hole possible get it move a little more also is it possible it's the torque converter locked up

apparently ther water got in the oil pan and when turning over the pistons coming down forced water, oil out every escape route, like blowing pan gaskets, up the dist. shaft, and who knows were else, if you herd a crunch it may have seized a piston from silt plugging tiny oil reliefs in crank and piston skirts

Try Marvel Mystery Oil in each cylinder ....let it set for a day to break the pistons loose

It's toast. Hydraulic'd and nice and rusty inside by now. Good Boat anchor though.
