2013 f150 5.0 oil gauge

Oil pressure gauge drops to zero at idle and picks back up
like normal at 1000 runs. Truck doesn't stall,shutter,skip oil
seems to be circulating the dip stick has oil half way up.
Has anyone ever had this issue before

Which engine and how many miles on it? This could be a faulty oil pressure sensor or a worn engine.

5.0 302 176k. Oil pressure is not a problem. I'm almost 95% sure its sending unit. But still researching it
