2013 Ford F150 window just dropped

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
The power window on the passenger side of my 2013 Ford F150 just dropped
oven one day and is won't come back up even though the motor is running? I
took the door panel off but it was very hard to see anything. If I knew what to
look for I could probably fix it. Has any one had the same problem? What did
you find was broken?

Look up "window regulator" for your make/model, and find a diagram of how it looks. You'll have to remove the door panel and the layer of plastic that seals the door. Then determine just what broke. either the regulator itself or something simple that was attaching the glass to it. (some are just glued, some use plastic rivets, etc.)
As stated above remove the panel and plastic covering. Look at the bottom of the glass you never see normally because it is inside the glass. It should be attached or glued to a metal channel which is attached to the lifting mechanism. You may have to reach in and push up the glass with one hand while you grab it with the other to in the window opening, raising it up to locate the problem.
correction - you never see normally because it is inside the door.
had the same problem. Wife hit the button to roll up front passenger window. It was almost to the top when it gave out a loud pop and the window fell. Luckily it did not shatter. I am currently in the middle of taking the panel off to see what happened. Guessing the cabel broke. Will let ya know. jerryD
My 2002 f 150 did the same thing. I replaced the driver side regulator per youtube intstructions. Its still doing same problem. I discovered the 2 glass glides on top of the regulator are not holding the glass even though I tightened them down. Gonna replace the guides now.
I had the same problems on both front windows . Is there a recall on this I have a 2013 f 150
