Question type: Car Customization

I have a 1994 Dodge Dakota 5.2 Motor - came with 46RE transmission stock.  I want
to convert to a Manual transmission.  I found a 94 Dakota with a 5.2 Motor and an
NV3500 5-Speed Transmission in a Salvage Yard.  The first thing I noticed is that the
Pilate Bearing that comes with the new clutch set and has an OD of 1.00' is too large
for the hole in the my Dakota's crank.  Is there a smaller diameter Bushing/Bearing
available for this application?  Does the crank need to be drilled to 1.00"?    Anyone
been through this drill before?

OK so this ends up being a forrest for the trees scenario. The crankshaft has a hole probably slightly less than 1.00 in bored into it about 3 inches deep. What I had missed is there a much wider hole bored to a depth of about 1 inch and that hole is the one that the bearing goes into. Its approx (steel tape measure) 1-3/4" in dia. Anotehr problem I had is that Auto Zone, Pep Boys, O'Reilly and Carquest didn't have any of these in stock they were all special orders. I NEVER EVER, go to NAPA because they are so antiquated but guess who had this bearing in stock? Yep NAPA.. SKF Bearing #FC69907 $19

Man I know this was 3 years ago but did you complete the swap? What all did it take? Im about to start this endeavor and any insight on bumps and snags I'll run into would be great also what you used to complete it and if it all worked out well. Hope it all went well and I know this is a long shot haha
