I have no heat or airconditioning in my 2003 Ford Escape. If this is a fuse, how expensive is it to fix?

But to continue...you say you have no heat or A/C. Does the blower work and blow air but not heat or cool it? Or does the fan not blow air? Please elaborate and come on back..that is if it turns out not to be the fuse..

No, the blower does not work at all----either for heating or air conditioning. The rear defroster works though. ----Kathy

Then the first thing to do is check that fuse, and it is separate from the rear window

Hi---It's Kathy again---one last question---where would the fuse be located? Thank you.

Check for power at the blower motor electrical connector. If you have power there, your fuse and switch are good. It's a ten year old car. It's probably a blower motor with short brushes.

Kathy I will send you a diagram of the fuse box, where the box is located, and which one to look at it, I need maybe 10 minutes

It's on the driver side, kick panel. Below the steering wheel, on the door towards the floor. There is a rectangular box Looks like it's cut out, pull open the side with the groove. The fuses are all there. Sorry it took longer that then 10 minutes I said, also a picture diagram will follow
