I don't have a key to my car to get my trunk is there an
emergency release lever

I have two emergency releases on my 2009 E93. One release is part of the keyfob and looks like an open trunk. If I press this button, the trunk unlocks. The other release is close to my left knee. It is a small red button. Again, if I press this button, the trunk unlocks. If you mean you are currently inside your trunk, then yes there is a pull handle there somewhere.
