A warning light that says "speed" lit up on my 1987 Ford Thunderbird. What does this mean? Thanks.

It's beneath the digits that read out the speed the car is going.  I've had the car for 25
years and this is the first time it's happened.

Its just a speed reminder. You somehow pressed one of those buttons on the cluster and activated it. May have to hold a button down to turn off
