I have a 89 thunderbird and my digital cluster
is dim and not reading the speed when I drive
it just stays 0. Anyone know a solution to this
problem? And is it possible to just swap it
out for a regular one?

I couldn’t find a replacement for shit. I lucked up at puck&pull and pulled one out of a 93 Cougar. Same exact cluster. Swapped it and it works perfect! Still don’t know what caused the original to stop working...

UPDATE! That “lucky dash” waaaas all good. I get the car damn near ready for paint and guess what? Now it won’t light up! Idk what did it or why. Everything was working normal then it just went out. I pulled another cluster from a junk yard this time from a 89 third. Installed it DIDNT WORK! Pulled another one from a 89 cougar. Installed it DIDNT WORK!! So at this point I’m convinced it’s a wiring issue. If anyone know a lil something about electrical problems let me know
