Someone can buy a similar 1999 GM Car for $2900 so I would say your 1989 is worth $1200-$1500

Unfortunately, you have put a "sentimental" value on your car. Many of us have kept this type of sale too personal and then missed the boat when we finally did decide to accept. I had a pseudo Chrysler classic that I thought was worth $3500 due to new tires, brakes and only 87k original miles. Turned down at least 8-9 offers below $3000 for 4 years and finally took $1500 to move it out of my driveway. What could you use the money for to buy a better car with if you did take $1500? You didn't say what you thought it was worth.
