My car won't start

Asked by dogsforkids2 Jan 03, 2017 at 08:12 AM about the 2003 Ford Escort ZX2

Car broke down on the way to work 9
months ago was told had blown head
gaskets and cracked heads...replaced
motor with used one from a U pull it car
cranked up but motor was knocking
insinuating a bad motor took it back got
another one also put on a brand new
radiator,spark
plugs,battery,alternator,starter,all new
gaskets, coil pack all brand new and a few
new fuses. After the second motor swap it
will not crank up. Ran at home diagnostics
test has spark, fuel, compression and
timing is all fine. Trying to reset the ECU to
see if that works but I am out of options
after that!! Somebody please help me!! It
turns over but will NOT start!!

Well it sounds like you are dealing with magic- just buy an engine out of a junkyard and it will just work, right?! Just like magic! Sorry, but cars are just machines, not magic- and if you just keep rollin' the dice you're gonna keep losing- money- get another car- one that runs- and get it checked out by a mechanic before you buy it- throw away the magic wand-
