2013 Honda Pilot Touring - Compass?

Asked by GregMCO Jun 13, 2015 at 11:10 PM about the 2013 Honda Pilot Touring 4WD

Question type: General

I too see under the specs, Comfort & Convenience> Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation
System™ with Voice Recognition, FM Traffic, Multi-Angle Rearview Camera with
Guidelines and Compass. For the life of me I've been through the three manuals several
times and can't find out how to see/get a compass to show up on ANY display. Can
anyone help?

It is on the top left of the navigation screen itself when the map is showing. You have 2 settings - "North up" or "heading up". Heading up shows the heading arrow always in the direction you are driving and if you need to know which way is North, you have to look at the little compass on the screen. "North up" means that the top of the nav screen is always North and the heading or direction arrow that shows which way you are traveling will change with your turns. see this link:http://techinfo.honda.com/rjanisis/pubs/QS/ZA14TRQS.pdf
