Installed new fuel pump gas gauge don't work and low gas lights stays on now what is the problem

The sending unit at the pump may have got stuck,or may not have hooked the wire backup right.

Would it help any if I ran it out off gas then fill it up besides taking bed back off?

You could try it,or tap the tank with a block of would a few times,may help if it is stuck

Ok thank you my brake lights and turn lights don't work either now worked before I took bed off I had to pull 2 wires that was for a trailer light hook up and now I can't figure what is going on with them fuses are good and headlights and tail lights work when turned on but no brake lights or turn signals do u know anything bout that?
