Ventilation does not shut off with controls in off position

The outside vent on my 2013 Miata MX5 Grand Touring does not shut
completely off. Outside air comes through the vents when on the road

I think you have to pull it apart and see if the actuator is broken or if it's getting a signal , maybe some elec, cleaner on the selector switch .
