Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I bought a new alternator for my 1988 Ford Festiva LX. It doesn't have a power
hook-up for the electrical line as shown in my picture of the old alternator. What
other power source can I use to get the correct voltage for this choke coil?

Parts should match what you are replacing. The plug you are showing is for the stator. Contact the seller to have them send you the correct part. What brand and part number alt were you sent? check on rock autos site for the correct part number for your vehicle.
