Have you had your Nox sensors or catalytic converter replaced under warranty?
Asked by Mark Dec 20, 2017 at 09:50 PM about the 2011 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500 170 Extended Passenger Van
Question type: General
The system is under warranty for 8 years or 80,000 miles....
AND, the emissions system is greatly affected by the consumption of DEF.
IF you experienced an excessive amount of DEF consumption, I would greatly
advise that you have your emissions system checked.....
Recently, had all of this work covered under warranty..... VERY lucky that
Mercedes Benz replaced everything under their own service.....
Has this happened to you???

UGH!!!!! YES - and the MB dealer (Spokane WA) is refusing to cover it. They claim it is not covered because my vehicle is not registered in the state of WA. Calls to MB USA were met with frustrating nonsense responses. MB USA refused to provide a written explanation of why my NOX sensors for a vehicle less than 7 years old with 39k miles are NOT covered under warranty. This is a $1600 repair. UGH!!!!
Where is your car registered???

The NOX sensor went out and was replaced at 4,400 miles while on vacation by Lyle Pearson M-B in Boise, Idaho. 2015 3500 Sprinter RoadTrek CS. 3.0 Liter V-6. No charge- all covered under warranty. Rick--Vallejo, Ca.
I have a c250 blurtec on a 15 plate and the nox sensor has failed been in and out off garages trying too fix it now got a guy that you can trust he saying it a sensor on bank 2 has failed will that come under warranty It done 85000 miles
I have a 2010 3500 MB Sprinter Roadtrek RS. We purchase Dec. 2019. Check engine light came on and the error code is P2202 NOx Sensor Circuit Low Input Bank 1. I only have 31,000 miles. I was told by a technician that it will cost about $1,400 to fix. They said that this usually occurs after 100,000 miles. Is there any chance that is is covered under any warranties. We just had 2 Glow plugs replaced too, another costly item. We’re in Michigan
