I have a 1993 Ram Charger with stock tires (R15). Can I use a size R22 without having to modify any parts on te truck?

That is a LOT of difference, going from 15 to 22 inch. Might not even fit in wheel-well, and turning radius will be greatly increased. Speedometer way off, off-set might be different and if so will destroy your wheel bearings in short time.

Only by changing the low gear and final drive ratio, putting a different load on it.
