I recently purchased a Nissan Sentra 2013 .It allows
me to unlock the trunk even when the car is locked .
Why so ?

it allows you to unlock the doors also I bet

I lock the car using the intelligent key. Then go back to the trunk and press the button on the trunk .It opens up ! - note the car is still locked. Is this normal ?

2019 Nissan Sentra. Can’t lock trunk either. If you were to take a nap in your car someone could come and steal our your trunk if they know this.
