Brake lights stay on all the time

Charged my battery and when I hook the car back up, the brake lights come on and stay on.

Check brake light switch may be stuck it's on the brake pedal with two wires connected to it

Had the same problem which caused my battery to die. It was a broken piece under the brake petal. Taped a penny underneath and it worked fine!
