Hi i change the vacuum valve on my buick reatta 89 and the heater still don't  work any more suggestions?

yeah, start the engine and see if vacuum draws when you move from hot to cold. if not just bypass it with 1/2 copper tubing till spring. hey! im unorthodox what can I say
