You tried starter fluid in carb at turn over to see if you have fire and/or no fuel? Do you have either?

The 302 must have been added later 1968 was the first year for the 302 and 1969 was the first year for the Boss 302.

A real Boss 302 engine is worth something but like creator says not all 302's are Boss.

All the typical things? What does that mean? If I tried all my typical things it would be doing burnouts on my street.

Fuel, timing, spark, air, battery, are all good. What's next? Of course it was added later, in an attempt to make a clone shelby. T5. Can you suggest what I try next

Compression is another thing to check. I would double check the timing.

Hard to check timing without engine running.hate to pull valve covers to check tdc

Look up static timing. Pulling valve covers is a 10 minute job. If you don't put the time in to do it right how do you expect to succeed?
