Does anyone know if it is possible to put a 4.6 northstar in a 86 coupe deville replacing the HT4100?

I went to a wrecking yard and looked at a northstar engine and it looked pretty large and looks like it would be a pretty tight fit. However i was told the 4.9 would be a better fit.

People put V6's in mk1 VW Golfs and not 1 but 2 Suzuki hyabusa engines into classic british mini's, put your mind to it you can do anything if you got the time

I wanted to do the 4.6 northstar in my 86 coupe deville and put in a twin turbo kit. It would take some serious modifications though.

My neighbor recently replaced the stock engine in his Fiero with the 4.6 from a Cadillac. The biggest issue was re-routing the exhaust.
