I have a 1989 DeVille and my fans will not turn off. My eng is not hot! What might be wrong?

coolant temp sensor could be bad. if you can locate it, unplug it and see if the fans go off.

Thanks, I located the cts but unpluging it did not stop the fan. I located the fan relay and tapped it with a screw driver and the fan turned off. I had a stuck fan relay! I r2 the relay.
