just when I try I give it gass and speed up some I have to play with the gas to pick up speed I let off the pedal and that helps

Ok lets try some general maintenance things first check air filter and clean throttle body replace fuel filter add Lucas Fuel Injector Cleaner to gas tank.

Pull the electronic ECU from behind the center console there is 2 bolts. one on each side once you pull off the carpeting. . unplug the 3 wire harnesses from the ECU and remove the 4 screws from the covering housing. I am certain you are going to find a leaking capacitor somewhere on the board. it is an easy fix if you can solder.

I agree on the ECU board. It is pretty common with these cars. Check on eBay for ECU repair. Foreign Auto Computer in Holly Lake Ranch Texas does good work with a quick turnaround.
