305 swap with a lt1

I have a 1986 Chevy Caprice trying to see  
will LT1 fit inside the Box Chevy without a
problem and what all I would i have to do if it
goes in

The LT1 will fit, a 350 was used in the cop car version. Not sure about transmission compatibility.

Transmission fixs with no prob it's a 700r but my question was would I have to replace the intake.. now I didn't go with the lt1 I use the 91 Chevy Caprice engine which is a 350 -5.0 I'm trying to c if I have to change the tbi which is the carburetor the one that spray. Or can I just hook everything up and run it??? Or do I gotta change the intake

I also have a ? I have a 89caprice it's fuel injected and I'm getting a LT1 out of a 94 Roadmaster 700R trans will it work in my 89 Caprice both are fuel injected anything else needs to be changed
