which is better for a everyday drive for my
1987 chevy caprice brougham with a 305
engine. A edelbrock 600  Or a holley 600.
What about. Manual or electric choke help
me out lol

Stay stock, most people forget the fact that manufacturers spend millions developing these fuel systems, as soon as you change you will run into more problems than just choke, the intake won't have carb heat big time drivability problems when cold, linkages, general performance either at ldle, medium speed or high speed, and then again sometimes they work my experience says otherwise

O ok cool thanks u think I should just have it rebuild I went to a located shop here to see what they would change to rebuild the want 395 to rebuild but idk if that's too high I think a 4 barrel quadjet ia up there

That is.a Rip check with another carb shop or check price of a reman from a parts store maybe even salvage yard.
