No headlights taillights or dash lights 1991 dodge dakota

First thing to do is check the fuses. Otherwise it may be the headlight switch that needs replacing. If you take it out and see signs of heat, then that is probably the problem.

My father has a 94 Dodge dakota sport, as he was backing out of the driveway when the headlights went dim and went out, so as of right now no headlights or running lights or taillights work ... I changed out the headlight switch and the ignition switch and it still doesn't work ..... did you ever figure out what the problem was with your truck ?
