83 first gen chevy cavalier engine swap

I recently bought this 83 4 door chevy
cavalier sedan and I want to swap engines
to make her a sleeper. I was thinking to do
an LS swap but it seems like a lot to take
part in. Is there a another option that I can
do that is just as effective.

Your car is FWD, converting it to RWD would be tremendously expensive and complicated.

Yes I didnt want to go that route, but all in all if its worth it, money isnt an issue. Otherwise anything that is much easier im open to.
