1989 cavalier z24 2.8 fuel & electrical problems

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Car started  running rough.  Replaced fuel
filter, fuel pump, throttle  position sensor.,
map sensor. Still acts like starving for gas.
When brake peddle  is pushed fuel pump
stops.  The head lights and brake lights
doing weird things. Idk any suggestions.

Sounds like you have some major shorting wires under the dash. Make sure all your wires are correct coming into and out of the fuse box. You may have some lose wires touching there. Is your ground correct after replacing all the item mentioned? Did you have this problem before having or doing the work? Recheck all connections and wiring. It appears to be electrical.
