2013 Nissan Titan needs new engine

Asked by GuruW3NW7 Jun 01, 2018 at 05:16 PM about the 2013 Nissan Titan SV Crew Cab

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

Dealer we bought this truck from (new) wants $14,000 to replace the engine on
our truck.  Truck only has 70,000 miles.  I don't understand why it went out,
but two cylanders are out.  Any suggestions?

14 grand is excessive but that is why we call them the "Stealership". I would shop around. A used engine is an option.

What do you mean by two cylinders are out? Burned valves, hole in the piston? Using oil?
