How does the transmission fluid look? Having sat for so long it's probable that the seals inside the transmission have dried up.

Fluid is good. it pulls initially when cold then stalls out. After it sits, it pulls again then stalls

If it has set for a while, could be bad gas,or fuel filter stopped up.

Thought that too, replaced fuel filter and drained all gas. Replace all wires, plugs, etc.

I would think, fuel pump, and if not pump, may be tranny going bad.

Looks like the problem is the old gas in the tank assisted with the rust and sludge going thru the injectors. replaced tank and thouroughly cleaned injectors and its running now
