Transmission

Asked by CTorres1212 Jan 31, 2020 at 12:18 AM about the 2013 Ford F-250 Super Duty XL Crew Cab 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The 4x4 and transmission was damaged. So the
mechanic suggested for me to remove the 4x4 so I
don’t have to worry about damaging the 4x4 again.
So the 4x4 was removed and the transmission was
repaired. I noticed on the dashboard a 4x4 light on
it said check 4x4. The mechanic told me not to
worry that nothing would happen because the 4x4
had been removed. About five months went by and
now the transmission is not going into all the gears
like it should. It’ll go into one, two, and three, but
four five and six is runs a good while and won’t go
into gear on it’s own.

1 Answer

Check the fluid level. I don't know what your mechanic did so have him look at it.
