Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a Mecedes Benz CLS500, that will not start. It does not make any
clicking noises or anything. Just had battery changed. Two error messages are
shown, Reduced braking power-start engine and Visit Workshop With Battery
Symbol. Can anyone tell me what the problem is.

Some of the newer Benz vehicles have a secondary mini battery under the hood passenger side. If so that should have been checked/load tested prior to primary change out of (trunk battery) If it does not have the fun mini battery then you might want to have a system scan for pending codes. Good Luck!

My car has that secondary battery would that stop the car from starting completely. I had someone come and look at the car yesterday and he said that the fuses were not receiving any power. And we hook up the diagnostic machine he did not see anything wrong with the car.
