Accident Reporting

How is it that CarGurus reports a car had an accident yet CarFax does not?

CG's does not report anything. The reports are from AutoCheck. Maybe CF missed something?

People here on this forum side with whatever report they like and rage against the report that shows an accident. Can't say which is more reliable.
