Driver seat recline

My manual driver seat won't recline
how do I fix it?

Buy new handle, they are plastic and tend to strip or break

I don't have an answer, but my seat does the same thing. When I lift up on the handle, only 1/2 the seat wants to move, (the left side of it) and the right is just stiff as nails. I don't think it's the handle, maybe something underneath?? I'd like to fix it myself if anyone has any info on how to do it would be muchly appreciated !!! Thanks in advance:)
